Her Majesty The Queen at the Arboretum

OceanBarefoot is proud to once again show its support for the National Memorial Arboretum in Lichfield, Staffordshire today by designing and printing the Order of Service for their annual Service of Dedication, attended by Her Majesty The Queen.

The Service commemorates those killed on duty in the previous year. The number of deaths in 2010 is one of the largest tolls of the past 20 years. It is an honour that we are able to be a part of the remembrance and thanksgiving for those who gave their lives in service.

Her Majesty The Queen attended the Service of Dedication at the Arboretum after having presented medals to soldiers from The Royal Mercian and Lancastrian Yeomanry in Staffordshire at Lichfield Cathedral.

“A place of light, space, and ultimately peace” – Liam O’Connor, Architect for the Armed Forces Memorial.
