The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) is a professional body for the insurance and financial planning professions, with over 125,000 members across 150 countries, it is one of the world’s largest professional bodies dedicated to these sectors.
Faced with the enormous challenge of transforming the CII into a more digitally based organisation, the institute turned to Ocean_Barefoot, with our extensive insurance sector experience and expertise, to help them take the first steps along their new strategic path, their own Target Operating Model (TOM).
O_B implemented comprehensive stakeholder surveys and a thorough comms audit, compiling a full inventory of the extensive content and materials across all media and channels, all audiences, both in the UK and internationally.
Our visually based report employed infographics to help illustrate the extent and complexities of their existing comms structure.
Based on our findings and recommendations for the institute’s future comms and marketing strategy, one of our conclusions was that help was needed to better explain the CII’s TOM strategy to their members in a clear and engaging way.
In conjunction with the development of a RIPPLE presentation, we were engaged to develop a series of video animations to outline this strategy, the CII’s role and their future digital transformation.
